I have a background in recreational education and leadership where I gained experience working in a management position for a number of years. In 2023 I made the choice to transition into a career in UX design. My career transition was inspired by the creative and challenging work space that UX design offers as well as the opportunity to positively impact others. Since graduating from my UX design diploma program, I’ve gained valuable freelance experience working with clients and alongside developers to deliver effective, user-friendly solutions that meet stakeholder needs and achieve business goals.
As I look for a full-time UX design position I’m continuing to refine my UI design skills in Figma while keeping up to date on the latest updates and features. In the future I’d also like to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to further strengthen my UI and graphic design skills.

I’ve been an avid sailor for most of my life and spent many summers teaching the sport. While at university I was a member of the McGill sailing team where we competed across eastern Canada and the US.
